The project, in collaboration with Estudio Lamela, is characterized by a strategic and grouped layout that efficiently distributes the different functional areas of the hospital complex. Situated in an open natural environment, the design leverages the site's topography to provide a modern, accessible, and comfortable space for patients, medical staff, and visitors.
The overall configuration of the hospital organizes its main functions into distinct blocks, with the care unit building standing prominently at the center of the complex. This central volume is positioned above the technical area, allowing the different medical services to be interconnected while ensuring that the rooms are uniformly oriented toward the four cardinal directions.
The access points are designed to optimize the flow of people and vehicles, with a direct entrance from the roundabout that connects to the highway. The internal layout ensures clear and simple circulation.
Green areas and interior courtyards provide natural light to various parts of the hospital. The proximity of the food production area, the restaurant, and the auditorium on the same level promotes interaction between these functions and enhances the hospital's daily operations.
